Organization

The Teaching Development Section was established in the 95th academic year and expanded to a first-level unit in the 97th academic year. The section sets up the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, one director, and 7 staffs who are separately in charge of three main affairs: teacher professional development, curriculum quality improvement, and student-learning promotion.

The section mainly constructs an effective teacher-student support system, consultation channels and learning platform so that teachers, students and teaching units can get the necessary support, resources and assistance when needed. In addition, the section also assists in rewarding universities of science and technology, Higher Education Sprout Project, and promotion of various businesses. The aiming of the section is to effectively integrate and use the university’s existing resources, innovative thinking for achieving the goals of teaching excellence.
